We have a team of physicians and nurses who specialize in the sedation of children. Sedation is a medicine that makes children more relaxed and safe during medical procedures, which may be stressful, painful or require them to hold still. Tests and procedures where pediatric sedation may be appropriate include radiology exams, botox injections, nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, biopsies, hearing tests and removal of stitches.
